Telling Blow to Honesty and Integrity

Manjunath was a sincere hardworking person .Doesnt know the cunning face of this world.
Having graduated from one of the premier management institutes in the world he could have chosen to join a big MNC and if he had wished he would have had a great career enjoying all the luxuries in the world staying far away from the so called poverty and poor people of this country.showing his capabilities if every thing were to go on very well , some day he would have even become CEO of the company enjoying the previleges ,respect and having the satisfaction of a person being responsible to run a big organisation,.instead the poor guy chose to join a PSU and wanted to reform it .sounds very funny having seen the way our PSUs are being run over past 5 or six decades by our great political class. It is no secret that public money and pubilc have been exploited to the hilt in these PSUs by people whosoever is in power. There isnt a semblance of difference between any political party in this.
It is onething being corrupt and quite another baffling thing to see the growing intolerance towards honest people by these corrupt people. This intolerance had gone to another level when a person trying to do his duty honsetly is being killed.what a great shame is this?,this is not an isolated case.If we do a case study, people who killed him care a damn to the law of this land ofcourse needless to say humanity is something that never enters their school of thought.Ofcoursre we cannot expect all the people in any society to be perfect ,there will be some devil people in every society but what is baffling is to see these people take over the control of our most valuable edifices of this country such as democracy and public assets and manipulating them according to their wishes and killing brutally whosoever opposes their devil deeds..
Who is responsible for this?,are we going to wash off our hands just by blaming politicians??,this again is irresponsible behaviour..,who is responsible to for putting these people at the helm of affairs to manage our countries' most valuable assets?,it is us, our esteemed Indian society which cannot save a lonely honest Manjunadh has to be responsible for this.It is good to see the furore and public anger on this incident yet we are in danger of forgetting this as another minor incident,If the soceity cannot provide security to a person coming from one of the best talents of this country willing to work for the betterment sacrificing all the tempting attractive, lucrative offers from outside , what is the use if we are so well on the way of becoming a developed country , growing at a rate of more than 8% per anum, being the synosure of this world .
Who will console the parents of Manjunadh who have had huge expectations on their great child?.After all this will they have to keep living in this horrible land without seeing any justice being done to them ??

These are some searching questions .who will find answers to them?,society should be totally responsible for all this. otherwise who else would be able to join these PSUs when they have 100 more rewarding choices outside?,all said and done I m afraid this will be another forgotten story and we will wait to find answers till another such incident occurs and another Manjunath sacrifices his life like the way we had done in case of Sathyendra Dube an IIT engineer killed a couple of years back again for being honestly discharging his duty. This is not about one or two cases, these things will become setbacks to the people who would want to be honest and people will start fearing to be honest., we cannot allow this to go if we are to become a prosperous society.
Where does the solution lie to this problem?,solution lies in bringing the culprits to justice and throwing the people out of power and electing very good representatives to rule us,As said earlier there are evil soles in every society , it is not practical to expect a complete clean society in a pluralistic culture like ours. But as representatives of this society it is everyone's duty to completely isolate these people , they should not be allowed to enter into any part of our mainstream .This is a collective responsibilty of each and every individual .Otherwise we will continue to see many Manjunadhs , Satyendra Dubes , story will never end.Are we on the track in achiving this?, I am afraid things look very grim.our society is too busy passing judgements on weather Saurav should be in the team or not and burning the effigies of Greg Chappel.
